This heartwarming story is based on the real life events surrounding the Homeless World Cup. A soccer tournament was established to spotlight the unhoused athletes from around the world. Vinny used to be a champion athlete until a turn of events left him homeless. Mal, the manager for England’s homeless soccer team, asks Vinny to join, forcing Vinny to face his truth about where he is in life. Colin Farrell produces and Billy Nighy, Cristina Rodlo, Valeria Golino and Michael Ward star in The Beautiful Game, streaming on Netflix March 29th.
Ollie Cross decides to become a paramedic in preparation for med school and joins veteran Gene Rutkovsky. He shows Cross how dangerous and fast paced being a medic on the mean streets of New York City can be. Now, thrust into the chaos, Ollie’s ethics are tested when he sees the amount of homelessness, drug use, and high crime rates. Starring Sean Penn and Tye Sheridan, Asphalt City is in theaters March 29th.
Finbar Murphy has decided he’s done and want’s to leave his past behind. Deciding to live a peaceful life in a remote coastal town in Ireland in the 1970s, Murphy thinks the darkness that once belonged to him is gone. However, a new group of terrorists show up and now Finbar must decide if he will show his secret identity or keep his friends and neighbors safe. Liam Neeson stars in In the Land of Saints and Sinners, in theaters March 29th.
