Mike is a construction worker from New Jersey and up until now, has led a very tame life. While at a local bar, he runs into his old high school girlfriend, Roxanne. He thinks they’re rekindling their romance but wakes up in a strange place and finds out he’s been recruited to help a team of spies and secret agents. Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry star in The Union, streaming on Netflix August 16th.
Andrew Yancy has been kicked out of the Miami Police Department where he used to be a detective. Now, he’s a health inspector for restaurants in the Florida Keys. However…a case has popped up after a severed human arm is found by tourists. Yancy thinks if he can solve the murder, he’ll be let back in the department. While investigating, he comes across a bunch of eccentric Floridians and a crazy monkey. Vince Vaughn stars in Bad Monkey, streaming on Apple TV August 14th.
With a 7th installment in this horror franchise you can expect more suspense and action as you anticipate the next move on the screen. A group of young space colonists are scavenging a dilapidated space station and find themselves face to face with a terrifying life form. This film is a standalone interquel between the incidents of Alien and Aliens. Cailee Spaeny and David Johnsson star in Alien: Romulus, in theaters August 16th.
