August 22: The Beatles’ First TV Appearance

In 1962, The Beatles made their television debut recorded by Granada TV at The Cavern Club in Liverpool. The footage aired on October 17th that year. It wasn't until February 9th, 1964 when they would make their first appearance on American television playing 3 songs...and changing music forever.
