It’s 1969 in San Fernando Valley and Hampton Chambers has recently been released from prison. When he comes home, he sees his wife and sons have formed a bond without him. In order to restore their family dynamic, Hampton invents a self- sharpening drill and believes this will bring his family back together. David Oyelowo stars in Government Cheese, streaming on Apple TV April 16th.
Set in 1930s Southern United States, twin brothers, Smoke and Stack, return home to start over. After working as hustlers, pimps, killers and even aiding Al Capone, they are ready to leave that life behind. However, when the brothers get back to their roots, they quickly realize their town has a few new residents Smoke and Stack need to take care of. Michael B. Jordan stars as both Smoke and Stack in Sinners, in theaters April 18th.
