Jess and Ladis Hoefkens celebrated their wedding in a breathtaking ceremony at the top of Mont Brévent, located in Chamonix, France, on March 28. With only 20 guests present and dressed for the occasion, Jess skied down the aisle while her father, Jon, 70, escorted her over a distance of 60 meters. The stunning backdrop of the French Alps added to the beauty of the moment as the couple exchanged vows, showcasing their shared love for skiing amidst their friends and family.

Following the ceremony, the new couple and their guests indulged in canapes and champagne before they all skied down the mountain together. Jess, a fitness coach from Weymouth, Dorset, shared that the small wedding was essential to reduce pressure, considering it was a blend of her active mountain family and Ladis’ non-skiing relatives. After meeting on Tinder in 2019, the couple’s love blossomed, leading to an engagement during a sunset walk in September 2022 and ultimately a memorable wedding day filled with joyous celebration and a live band, Revolverlites, at their reception.
