In a blaze of excitement, Lawton Fire Station 8 recently hosted students from the Lawton Christian Homeschool Educators group for a thrilling fire safety event. These kids had the chance to trade in textbooks for fire trucks, learning crucial fire safety tips that could come in handy someday—because who doesn’t want to know what to do in an emergency? To add a pinch of adrenaline, they also navigated an obstacle course that made them feel like mini firefighters ready to take on any challenge.
