Ariana Grande just turned her biggest hit into a love letter. During the final show of her Eternal Sunshine tour in London, she sang a modified version of “thank u, next,” swapping a lyric to sing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, I’m tryna make him my last.” The crowd went wild, and fans immediately started speculating about a possible engagement.

 

Grande and Ricky Álvarez have history. They dated briefly over a decade ago and rekindled their romance in July after her split from Ethan Slater. Since then, Grande has been dropping hints. She changed the same song’s lyrics during a Brooklyn show, sang “We always find our way back,” and debuted a matching “I do love you” tattoo with Álvarez. She has also announced plans to step back from public-facing work after her tour concludes, and she pulled out of a West End production of “Sunday in the Park With George.”
