The original ‘Life Of A Showgirl’ album landed in October 2025 and delivered the biggest first week for an album in history, thanks to production from Max Martin and Shellback and hits like ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ and ‘Opalite’. Swift says the Encore tracks were written during a trip to Sweden with her collaborators, and she described them as “born out of pure gratitude” for fans. She also gave a shoutout to the record-breaking crowd, telling fans, “You gave ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ the biggest first week for an album in history.” On top of all that, she’s set to receive the first-ever MTV VMA Artist Director Honors award this weekend.
