Turnstile just announced a free concert at the Washington Monument in D.C. on October 24 at 3 p.m. ET, and it’s all for a cause bigger than music. The band is teaming up with Human Concern International to raise funds for humanitarian efforts in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon, with donations going toward food, water, medical care and shelter for families in need.
The timing couldn’t be more stacked for Turnstile. They just made their SNL debut as the first hardcore band on Studio 8H since Fear in 1981, dropped Never Enough: Versions featuring collabs with Elton John and Hayley Williams, and they’re in the middle of their Never Enough Tour Pt. 2. Instead of just riding the wave, they’re using the moment to give back in a big way.
Hassan Wadi, global director at Human Concern International, shared that as a Gazan, he couldn’t be prouder of the Turnstile team and community for showing up for people in Gaza, Lebanon and Sudan. And honestly? Same. If you’re in the D.C. area on October 24, this is one show you won’t want to miss. And if you can’t be there in person, you can still donate to support the cause.
