Magic Face Off January 29th

Help us choose the new music we play on Magic 95. Vote and hear the full songs below.

Kelly Clarkson Performs Breathtaking Cover of U2's 'Mysterious Ways'

Not content with just being America’s sweetheart talk show host, Kelly Clarkson is now bending soundwaves to her will with a cover of U2’s ‘Mysterious Ways.’ It’s all part of her ‘Kellyoke’ series, a segment that has her sprinkling stardust on popular tunes, turning them into something fresh, fun, and oh-so-Clarkson. The U2 hit comes straight from their acclaimed 1991 album ‘Achtung Baby’, a true classic just like the host herself.

The talk show queen has been conquering the daytime TV realm since 2019 and showing no signs of slowing down her musical escapades. Recently, Clarkson belted out a touching rendition of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Used To Be Young’ and shared the screen – and some harmonies – with ‘Frasier’ star Kelsey Grammer. Because why settle for chatting when you can sing, right? But it’s not all melodies and laughter; Kelly also got real about her struggles with a “post-divorce depression,” proving that even superstars face the blues.

On a lighter note, you’ve got to admire how seamlessly she slides from power ballads to sitcom tunes – is there anything Kelly can’t do? Just when you thought your ‘Electric Feel’ playlist was getting stale, Clarkson swoops in to prove that you can, indeed, still be surprised by ‘Mysterious Ways.’ And boy, does she deliver!

Justin Timberlake Announces North American Dates for 'Forget Tomorrow World Tour'

Excuse me while I suit and tie up, ’cause Justin Timberlake is hitting the road with his anticipated Forget Tomorrow World Tour! Yeah, you heard it right—your main man JT is prepping to blow your minds and probably some speakers, embarking on a musical journey across North America this spring. It’s time to break out those dance moves you’ve been practicing in front of your mirror since “SexyBack” was a new release!

The announcement has Timberlake fans buzzing like a hit single on repeat. After the hush of pandemic times, this is the call to step out and groove to the beat of live music once more. So update your concert wardrobe, because a Justin show isn’t just a feast for the ears—it’s a full-on fashion runway with fans turning looks that say “I’ve got style and a Spotify account!” Be prepared to dance, swoon, and remind your friends who keeps forgetting the ticket sale date why they’re on photo approval for eternity.

Ariana Grande's 'Yes, And?' Debuts at #1! Teases New Album

Ariana Grande’s latest banger “Yes, And?” has rocketed straight to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and the pop princess is incredibly grateful. Grande took to Instagram with an emotional thank you to her fans, calling them “the most incredible angels,” and sharing a candid snippet from the music video making. She’s not just hitting high notes; she’s hitting heartfelt ones, too.

“Yes, And?” is proving to be more than just a catchy tune—it’s an emotional journey, and Ari’s army is here for it. The hit single heralds the coming of her seventh album, “Eternal Sunshine”, set to illuminate the music scene on March 8. After some time focusing on cinematic pursuits and the beauty biz, Grande’s return to music is akin to a diva landing her glitter-coated spaceship square in the center of Pop Town. And we just live in it.

Jennifer Lopez's Star-Studded Journey to Love Lands on Prime Video!

Jennifer Lopez is serving us the full J.Lo experience in the fresh-out-of-the-oven trailer for her Amazon original film “This is Me… Now: A Love Story”. If you’ve ever thought her love life was a rollercoaster, buckle up, because the two-minute sneak peek promises an even wilder ride. And yes, that ride includes cameos from an eclectic cast akin to a Hollywood boulevard star map including Fat Joe, Trevor Noah, and Post Malone, among a constellation of others.

Longtime BFF Fat Joe steps up as Lopez’s therapeutic knight in sweatered armor, while other A-list friends perform what seems like less of an intervention and more of a roast on love life choices. With fast cuts between steamy subways and motorcycle getaways, we’re left with a chilling thought: “Not all love stories have a happy ending.” The genre-bending film is said to be part narrative drama, part music video extravaganza—complete with the futuristic landscapes and A-list squad we didn’t know we needed.

Directed by Dave Meyers and co-written by Lopez herself, the film drops on the same day as her album, making February 16 a double-whammy J.Lo day on Prime Video. Lopez is “nervous, excited, scared and thrilled”—and truth be told, so are we. The teaser alone packs enough punchline for a Vegas show, and I can’t help but wonder if the upcoming album will double as the film’s soundtrack.

When Legends Collide: Mike Shinoda Crashes Fall Out Boy's ALTer EGO Gig

When Fall Out Boy unexpectedly crowned themselves the kings of ALTer EGO last minute, fans had no clue what a treat they were in for. As if being the substitute headliners wasn’t buzz-worthy enough — take that, Paramore — they decided to turn the cool factor up to eleven. Enter Mike Shinoda, of Linkin Park fame, for a surprise rendition of ‘Dance Dance’ that probably left the crowd wondering if they’d accidentally walked into a rock ‘n’ roll hall of fame induction ceremony.

“Dance Dance” isn’t just any FOB classic; it’s a cargo pants pocket filled with 2005 nostalgia. Now, mix in Shinoda’s alt-rock seasoning, and you’ve got a flavor explosion that’s sure to leave the audience’s taste buds, I mean eardrums, reeling for days. The band’s bassist, Pete Wentz, spilled some tea about their 2024 Download Festival headline slot, reminding us all to embrace our weirdness and create without fear. Feeling inspired is practically guaranteed.

Whether you were in the nosebleeds or jamming up front, videos of this collaboration are currently fueling the fire of FOMO across the internet. Better watch it now — your rock cred might depend on it. And let’s face it, if Fall Out Boy and Shinoda are the new peanut butter and jelly, we’re all going to need a bigger lunchbox.

Check out the original music video from Fall Out Boy's 2005 hit 'Dance Dance'.

This celebration of victory unfolded on January 13, adding a bit of star presence to the already electrifying atmosphere of the game.

Christina Aguilera's Stunning Weight Loss Steals The Show at Residency Debut

It’s no small feat to drop jaws in Las Vegas, a city famed for its endless surprises. Yet, Christina Aguilera managed to do just that, flaunting a phenomenal 40-pound weight loss at the kick-off of her highly anticipated residency at The Voltaire, The Venetian. Fans and newbies to the Xtina craze alike witnessed an inspired performance, showcasing her hallmarked vocal dynamism alongside her newly transformed silhouette.

Let’s face it; weight transformations in the spotlight often eclipse the talent behind them. But when you’ve got the chops that made “Genie in a Bottle” a global hit, it’s clear that the scales—weight and musical ones—are just another instrument for a star to master. As Christina Aguilera redefines her image and sound, she sets a high bar not just for pop divas but for Vegas standouts.

Taylor Swift Manifests Love with Travis Kelce: A 2009 Love Story Come True

Ever read an interview that made you think the star had a crystal ball? Swifties unearthed a 2009 Glamour interview where Taylor Swift sketched out her ideal relationship dynamic which, lo and behold, aligns curiously well with her current romance with Travis Kelce. Does Taylor have a time machine, or is she just that good at manifesting her destiny?

Back then, teen Taylor mused on long-distance love and needing a man with robust confidence—an ethos that screams Kelce today. She’s gone from Nashville neighbor-lover to jet-setting with an NFL superstar. The Swift-Kelce saga is more proof that when it comes to love, sometimes you nail it long before you know it’s on the way.

Declutter Life Hacks

By now, a lot of the holiday decorations have been put away, which may have initiated a deep cleaning in your home. Many take this opportunity to start decluttering...getting rid of items you haven't used or needed in a while.

Sometimes, it can be overwhelming when you begin this process. Where do you even start? Especially when you have kids...they tend to accumulate quite a bit quite fast.

According to simplelionheartlife.com there are 7 steps to making this ordeal simple.

First off, use a "maybe box." This makes it easier to part with something that, maybe, you've been holding onto but not quite sure why.

Use a timer. This will assure you you're not going to be doing this all day, and it also makes you set a goal for how much you want to get done in a certain amount of time.

Be sure to have a donation box. You know the items that are still usable will go to someone who could use them, which will make you feel better about parting with it.

Start with the obvious. Go to your closet and pull out the clothes you haven't worn in a couple years...or the clothes that "Someday I Will Fit Back Into."

Use a "Put Away Box." I usually use my stairs to the bedrooms. I have a little tote for each kid, one for myself, and one for my husband.

Put on your favorite playlist or tv show. If you have something on in the background you love, it will make decluttering a little less painful.

Finally, be intentional about what you bring into the house. After all this work, it's important to not backslide. This will, also, help your pocketbook! Don't buy non essentials and the clutter will stay away!

Happy Cleaning!
