50 Cent Faces Legal Repercussions: Accusations of Domestic Violence and Vandalism Unveiled

In a serious turn of events, Daphne Joy brought forward allegations against her ex-partner, 50 Cent, accusing him of not only physically assaulting her by kicking but also wreaking havoc on her property, leading to damages estimated at $7,000. This incident, characterized by its violent nature, was more than just a personal altercation, it led to legal repercussions for the rapper known for hits like “Candy Shop.”

In the year 2013, the law caught up with 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, as he was charged with multiple criminal counts stemming from this incident. Specifically, he faced one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism. This legal trouble illustrates a significant fallout from the rapper’s actions during the incident involving Daphne Joy, highlighting the serious consequences of his actions. A situation that arguably could have been avoided with a better choice of actions, or at the very least, a less destructive expression of any discord.

Welcome to the party...Ole Blue Eyes?

It's hard to imagine anyone other than Bruce Willis playing John McClane, but he wasn't the first choice. However, "choice" isn't exactly the right word, as 20th Century Fox was forced to offer the Die Hard role to Frank Sinatra, who was 70 years old at the time. Die Hard is based on a novel called Nothing Lasts Forever, and that novel is a sequel to The Detective. Sinatra starred in the 1968 adaptation of The Detective, and his contract stated that he had the right to reprise his role in the event of the franchise continuing. While Die Hard isn't a sequel to The Detective, the contract still applied.

Diddy and Jade Ramey Scandal: Allegations of Paid Relationship Shock Fans

In recent news, a lawsuit has brought to light allegations involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Instagram model Jade Ramey. The two were first caught in the public eye in December 2022, sharing a kiss at the upscale Nobu Malibu—a moment that first sparked rumors about their relationship. Now, it seems those rumors have evolved into a legal dispute, with Jade Ramey accusing the renowned “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker of compensating her with a ‘monthly stipend’ for sex work.

The lawsuit filed by Jade Ramey purports that the arrangement between her and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was not merely romantic or casual, as initially perceived by the public lens. Instead, Ramey’s allegations suggest a transactional aspect to their interactions, raising questions about the nature of their relationship. As this story unfolds, it captures not only the intrigue of celebrity romance but also the complex, often concealed dynamics that can exist behind closed doors. In the meantime, fans of the music mogul and the Instagram model may need to brace themselves for more revelations—because, in the world of high-profile relationships, the line between personal and legal matters is frequently as blurry as a poorly edited Instagram filter.

Diddy's Drama Unfolds: Private Jet Lands in Antigua Amid Federal Raids on His US Homes

In a somewhat cinematic twist of events, the private jet belonging to music mogul Diddy landed at an airport in Antigua amidst a dramatic backdrop: his homes in the United States were concurrently undergoing federal raids. Details on the raids or the reasons behind them were not disclosed, leaving much to the speculation of onlookers and fans. The jet’s arrival in the Caribbean, notable for its timing, has sparked curiosity and intrigue.

Although Diddy himself was not on board the jet, making its lone journey to Antigua, the event has not gone unnoticed. The visual of his luxury aircraft touching down on foreign soil, as agents possibly combed through his stateside residences, paints a stark and compelling imagery. As of now, additional details regarding the federal interest in Diddy’s properties or the implications of his jet’s Caribbean detour remain elusive, leaving room for more questions than answers.

The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Over North America

Mark your calendars and get your viewing glasses ready because on April 8, the skies over Mexico and North America are getting a dark makeover courtesy of a total solar eclipse. This isn’t your everyday celestial event; it’s a rare spectacle where the moon cozies up between Earth and the sun, turning day briefly into an awe-inspiring night. Nicola Fox from NASA’s got the scoop, highlighting this eclipse’s broad audience reach and the extended moments of totality that could last up to four minutes in some areas! Essentially, it’s the universe deciding to throw a dramatic, nature-based show, and for once, the tickets are free and the seats (almost) unlimited. Just imagine explaining to someone you missed it because you were too busy binge-watching a series you’ve already seen three times.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Sunlit Malibu Date: A Glimpse into Their Blossoming Romance

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are turning heads and weaving tales of romance, this time over lunch in sunny Malibu. Spotted holding hands as they exited Nobu on a bright Sunday afternoon, these lovebirds are fueling the rumor mill, all while looking effortlessly chic. They’ve just returned from a cozy getaway in the Bahamas, trading in white sands for the bustling streets of Los Angeles. Seems like whether it’s hitting the chill button in the Bahamas or navigating the paps in Malibu, Swift and Kelce are all about teaming up against any playbook life throws their way. Let’s be honest, when you’re balancing world tours with NFL seasons, a sushi date in the sun is probably like a mini-vacation all on its own.

HAPPY GILMORE 2!

"Happy Gilmore 2" is apparently being developed by Adam Sandler and a script even exists, Shooter McGavin actor Christopher McDonald revealed during an interview. McDonald said he had a recent run-in with Sandler, who unexpectedly pulled out the first draft for a sequel to their 1996 sports comedy classic.

"I saw Adam [Sandler] about two weeks ago, and he says to me, ‘McDonald, you're gonna love this,'" McDonald said. "I said, ‘What?' He says, ‘How about that,' and he shows me the first draft of ‘Happy Gilmore 2'. Maybe you should cut that out [of this audio] because I don't wanna be a liar, but he did show me that, and I thought, ‘Well, that would be awesome.' So, it's in the works. Fans demand it, dammit!"

Sandler starred in and co-wrote "Happy Gilmore," which was directed by Dennis Dugan. The sports comedy remains one of Sandler's most popular comedies. He plays the eponymous Happy Gilmore, a hockey player with anger management issues who discovers he's also got a talent for golf. Happy joins the golf tour circuit to win money to save his grandmother's house and faces off against an arrogant pro named Shooter McGavin, played by McDonald. The supporting cast also included "Modern Family" favorite Julie Bowen and Carl Weathers.

Weathers passed away last month, and Sandler was one of the first prominent actors to pay tribute to his late co-star on social media.
"A true great man. Great dad. Great actor. Great athlete. So much fun to be around always," Sandler wrote of his "Happy Gilmore" co-star and friend. "Smart as hell. Loyal as hell. Funny as hell. Loved his sons more than anything. What a guy!! Everyone loved him. My wife and I had the best times with him every time we saw him. Love to his entire family and Carl will always be known as a true legend."

"Happy Gilmore" opened in 1996 and made nearly $40 million at the worldwide box office. The movie helped Sandler become one of the biggest comedy stars of the decade along with titles like "Billy Madison," "The Waterboy," "The Wedding Singer," "Big Daddy" and more. Universal Pictures released "Happy Gilmore."

Travis Kelce's Game Day Routine for Taylor Swift: A Peek Inside the Chiefs' Unique Bond

Travis Kelce’s postgame routine has taken an unexpected turn, all thanks to his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift. While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end usually would meet friends and family in the throng of the locker room post-victory, he’s switched it up to rendezvous with Swift in the suite she occupies during the games. According to Chiefs GM Brett Veach, this has created a bizarre dynamic where Swift’s presence is almost an open secret, known but not discussed, in the locker room. This arrangement is working out, though, letting Kelce keep his mind on the game and his heart in the suite. Now, if only Veach could snag an invite to meet Swift – maybe next season!

Facebook Brings Back Poke

acebook has made a move that seems to be a blast from the past by bringing back the Poke feature, a quirky yet iconic aspect of the social media platform during its early days. This old-school method was originally used for multiple social engagements such as flirting, catching someone’s attention, or simply annoying friends. Given the nostalgically rich history of the feature, its return has sparked quite an interest among the digital community.

Interestingly, this once-antiquated feature is now being wholeheartedly embraced by Gen Z users. The demographic, often associated with chasing new trends and digital innovation, has surprisingly shown a keen interest in this retro feature. They are finding creative and entertaining ways to utilize the Poke, incorporating it into their modern social interactions on the platform. It seems the old ways of getting someone’s attention online are making a notable comeback, proving that sometimes going back is the way forward. Just when you thought sliding into DMs was the height of online interaction, Facebook says, “Hold my Poke.”

Appetite For...Grammy?

Guns N’ Roses‘ Appetite for Destruction will be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame this year, righting a 37-year wrong in the process.

It feels like every year the Grammy nominations are scrutinized over how they reflect on what’s actually going on in music at the time, and seemingly one of the more egregious errors was that somehow Guns N’ Roses hugely selling debut album was overlooked by the Grammys back in 1987 and over the course of the album’s entire run.

So, in 2024, Appetite for Destruction is one of 10 new recordings that will be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
How Did the Grammys Initially Overlook the Appetite for Destruction Album?

While it seems like a glaring omission, it’s actually easy to see how the album may have initially been overlooked. As Billboard notes, the end of the 1987 eligibility period to be considered for a Grammy was Sept. 30 that year. Appetite for Destruction was initially released on July 21, 1987.

Appetite for Destruction didn’t blow up right away. Months after its release, the album seemed to be stalled at 250,000 in sales and MTV refused to play the video for “Welcome to the Jungle.” The band’s label and manager had suggested they stop touring and start working on their next album, when they made one last ditch plea to MTV to play the “Welcome to the Jungle” video. Initially airing at 5AM on a Sunday morning, the clip found its audience and the album then started to take off.

At the time of the end of eligibility, Appetite for Destruction had not even cracked the Top 70 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. With minimal airplay or MTV support at that point, it’s not a surprise the album was overlooked. The bigger surprise is that the hit singles that followed over the course of the next two years were.
“Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” all went without a nomination. Guns N’ Roses didn’t score recognition from the Grammys until a Best Hard Rock Performance nomination for their second offering, GN’R Lies. It’s one of three nominations they’ve amassed over the years, while still seeking their first Grammy win.

After going on hiatus for two years while the powers that be reconsidered the Grammy Hall of Fame induction process, the Grammy Hall came back with 10 recordings for the 2024 induction class (which is down from their 25 to 30 in previous years).

It should also be noted that each of this year’s inductees are first time entries into the Grammy Hall.

So who else is joining Guns N’ Roses in this class? The list of recordings features a mix of six singles and four albums. The 2024 induction class is as follows:

William Bell, “You Don’t Miss Your Water” (1961)
Buena Vista Social Club, Buena Vista Social Club (1997)
De La Soul, 3 Feet High and Rising (1989)
The Doobie Brothers, “What a Fool Believes” (1979)
Guns N’ Roses, Appetite for Destruction (1987)
Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (1998)
Wanda Jackson, “Let’s Have a Party” (1960)
Kid Ory’s Creole Orchestra, “Ory’s Creole Trombone” (1922)
Charley Pride, “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'” (1971)
Donna Summer, “I Feel Love” (1977)

The Grammy Hall of Fame was initially established in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Drama

In an interesting turn of events within the entertainment world, ‘Love Is Blind’ star Chelsea Blackwell has made a public plea to music icon Taylor Swift, asking her to cease her viewership of the Netflix reality series. This extraordinary request came about after Travis Kelce, a well-known tight end for the Chiefs, performed an impersonation of Chelsea Blackwell. Kelce, known for his prowess on the football field, has evidently also made waves in the realms of reality TV fandom, showcasing the expansive influence of ‘Love Is Blind.’

Kelce’s engagement with the show reached a personal dimension as he urged his brother, Jason Kelce, to dive into the series. His description of the show as the “worst trash ever” in conjunction with being “so good” reflects a candid, if paradoxical, endorsement. This incident not only underlines the wide-reaching appeal and polarizing content of ‘Love Is Blind’ but also functions as a humorous anecdote involving high-profile personalities from entirely different spheres of entertainment. It seems the allure of reality TV drama knows no bounds, ensnaring even those who might initially resist its pull with a love-hate magnetism.

Spring has sprung!

Today is the Spring Equinox. The first day of Spring! Even though it's felt like spring ALL WINTER LONG with the exception of that week we had some cold temperatures. Get used to the heat, kids!

Travis Kelce sings on podcast

In a surprising twist during a sports conversation, Travis Kelce took a moment to flex his vocal chops. The moment unfolded on a show he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. The topic at hand was the notable shift of quarterback Kenny Pickett from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Philadelphia Eagles, a move that has surely sparked many discussions in the sports world. Amidst this sports-laden talk, Travis decided it was the perfect time to belt out Taylor Swift’s hit song ‘Bad Blood’.

While it’s not every day that you find a sports talk peppered with pop culture performances, Travis Kelce managed to blend the two seamlessly. His impromptu rendition of ‘Bad Blood’ might have been surprising, but it was undoubtedly a memorable moment for listeners. This segment is an interesting example of how discussions on sports radio shows can sometimes take an unexpected turn into entertainment territory, all the while keeping the sports conversation engaging and lively. It remains to be seen whether Travis will treat listeners to more vocal performances in the future, but for now, his singing stint is a playful reminder that sports figures can have multifaceted talents, including a knack for performing hits by their pop star girlfriends.

Bruno Mars and MGM Grand Dispel Rumors of $50 Million Gambling Debt

Recent rumors around pop sensation Bruno Mars being in hot water with the MGM Grand Las Vegas over a purported $50 million gambling debt have been squashed. MGM Resorts, stepping forward to address the allegations directly, made it abundantly clear that Mars is not drowning in any such financial quagmire with them. Their statement wasn’t just about the money, though—it was a robust affirmation of the strong, respectful relationship between the global superstar and the hospitality giant. This rapport extends from Mars’s performances at Dolby Live at Park MGM to his involvement with the Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, both endeavors that MGM credits with drawing international audiences to their venues.

The origin of these gambling debt rumors traced back to a report by NewsNation, suggesting Mars had accumulated this massive debt since initiating a long-term residency with MGM in 2016. The report went as far as to claim that despite Mars’s annual earnings from this deal, he was essentially in MGM’s pocket due to the alleged debts. Furthermore, it painted a picture of Mars making a comparatively minimal $1.5 million per show after taxes. However, MGM’s statement not only refutes the debt claims but highlights their excitement for future collaborations with Mars to create “unforgettable experiences” for guests. As for Bruno Mars, his response remains encapsulated in the silence of someone who knows his “Uptown Funk” won’t be derailed by mere rumors; nor will his past-time card-playing hobby, once a means to cover rent, lead to undesired limelight on his finances.

Kelly Clarkson Takes Legal Action Against Ex and Starstruck Entertainment

Kelly Clarkson’s latest legal drama with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock is making headlines, and it’s not over alimony payments. According to sources, Kelly is standing her ground, seeking justice and what she believes is rightfully hers following their split. This lawsuit could be more about Kelly reclaiming her professional power, challenging her ex and his father’s management company regarding alleged unlicensed talent agent activities. With their past legal and financial battles laid out like the lyrics to a heartbreak ballad, Kelly is apparently thrilled to be moving on from at least one aspect of this saga – her spousal support payments. Now, there’s something to sing about!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's flat tire leads to a Lakers game

In an unexpected twist to what was planned as a romantic date, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck found themselves dealing with a flat tire. The unforeseen incident required them to leave their BMW behind as they navigated through the inconvenience. However, not one to let a bit of automotive trouble dampen their spirits, the couple quickly rebounded from the mishap.

Moving past the flat-tire fiasco, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made their way to a Los Angeles Lakers game. There, they were spotted sitting courtside, enjoying the game in high spirits. The presence of Ben Affleck’s 12-year-old son, Samuel, added a family touch to their outing, showcasing a blend of family time with their date night. This goes to show that not even a flat tire can flatline their plans for the evening, illustrating their resilience and ability to turn a potential disappointment into a memorable night out.

Justin Timberlake has made a grand re-entry into the music scene with “Everything I Thought It Was,” marking his first studio album release since “Man of the Woods” in 2018. Diverging from his previous experimentation with country and Americana, this album sees Timberlake making a strong pivot back towards his roots in rhythmic pop and dance music, underscored by a significant collaboration with producer Timbaland. Notably, the album includes a direct nod to his earlier work with a throwback to the catchy call-and-response style of “Señorita” in his new track “My Favorite Drug,” signaling both a return to form and an evolution of his sound.

Beyond the catchy beats and infectious melodies, Timberlake uses this album as a platform to engage with his public persona and past controversies head-on, particularly in the introspective bookend tracks “Memphis” and “Conditions.” Here, he reflects on his journey through fame and the complex reality behind his previously unblemished celebrity image. While Timberlake has already expressed in concerts a defiance against apologizing for past actions, these tracks reveal a more nuanced self-examination and an acknowledgment of change. Fans might be coming for the hits, but they’ll find layers to unpack, showing that even after these years, Timberlake can still surprise—and yes, let’s hope it doesn’t take another half-decade for the next surprise.

OKLAHOMA GOLD!!

March 14th, 1958 – The Recording Industry Association of America Awards its First Gold Record...for OKLAHOMA!
The RIAA got into a shiny habit on this day by handing out its very first gold record to the soundtrack “Oklahoma!” Music suddenly had a new golden standard, and it wasn’t just in color but in records sold. Cha-ching goes the register, cha-ching goes the history! Where the wind comes sweeping down the plain!

Tour Dates Canceled for Jennifer Lopez

In a surprising move, Jennifer Lopez has canceled seven tour dates, leaving fans and the media speculating about the reasons behind this decision. The cancellations come in the wake of her latest album, “This Is Me…Now,” not living up to expectations. Despite her stardom and a string of hits that would make any jukebox jealous, the album stumbled out of the gate, landing at a less-than-stellar No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart last month.

Critics haven’t been kind to Lopez’s latest work either. A review by Page Six didn’t mince words, calling the album “uninspired,” suggesting that perhaps the music didn’t resonate as hoped with listeners or critics. While the exact reasons for the tour’s cancellation remain unspoken, the connection between the album’s reception and the decision to cancel shows is hard to ignore. One could say, in terms of chart success, Lopez hoped to get loud but instead, it seems the volume was turned down.

Everything old is new again!

On this day the previous year, a momentous shift occurred in the music industry as vinyl records experienced a remarkable revival. For the first time since 1987, the sale of vinyl records outstripped that of CDs, signifying a major trend reversal wherein an older technology outpaced its digital successor in terms of unit sales. This revival was not a sudden phenomenon; it was the result of a consistent increase in vinyl popularity, which had been climbing for 17 straight years.

Olivia Rodrigo's Bold Move at Concert

In a bold move promoting reproductive health, pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo offered free Plan B and condoms to attendees at her recent concert in St. Louis. This initiative by Rodrigo ties into a broader discussion on the availability and stigma surrounding contraception and emergency contraception, particularly in light of recent legislative actions affecting abortion rights and access in various states. Rodrigo’s effort has been met with an array of reactions across social media platforms, ranging from support to criticism.

This initiative is part of Olivia Rodrigo’s commitment made earlier in February to facilitate access to contraception for her fans during live performances. Whether this will become a staple feature of her tours or a one-time gesture remains to be seen, but the action has undoubtedly sparked conversation among Rodrigo’s young fan base, and beyond, about the intersection of pop culture and personal health choices. While some might see it as a controversial after-party favor, others are applauding Rodrigo for striking a chord in the reproductive rights discussion.

Neil West with Southwest Pride Barbershop Chorus

Live with Indie and Big Al had a blast chatting with Neil West with Southwest Pride Barbershop Chorus.   Boy, do they have a show lined up for you including special guest stars!    This musical comedy is a real romp -  “When the chorus competes on a baking show, the results are either baking brilliance or barbershop buffoonery!” You be the judge!  Listen to the interview for even more shenanigans planned for The Great Barbershop Bake Off!

Oklahoma Funk Mourns A Loss

The music world is mourning the loss of Gap Band member Anthony Walker, fondly referred to as Baby Gap, who has passed away at the age of 60. The news was confirmed by his younger brother, Dr. Eric Walker, who stated that Anthony Walker’s death occurred in an Ohio hospital on the preceding Monday.

While the family has yet to disclose the cause of death or any further details surrounding his passing, the impact of Baby Gap’s contribution to music is undisputed. Anthony Walker’s memory lives on through the timeless grooves and soulful melodies that characterized The Gap Band’s success. As fans reminisce over the band’s hits, they honor the musical legacy left behind by a member whose nickname, Baby Gap, perhaps quaintly reflected the space he’ll leave in the hearts of those who adored his talent. The Gap Band was formed in Tulsa in 1967. The letters, GAP stand for the street names Greenwood, Archer and Pine. These were the streets that each member lived on in the greater Tulsa area.

Lily Allen's Career

Lily Allen, celebrated for her catchy tune “Smile,” saw significant success in the mid-to-late 2000s with two albums that didn’t just sing but shouted triumph on the sales charts. The 2006 release “Alright, Still” and the 2009 follow-up “It’s Not Me, It’s You” were not only hits, but they also earned the coveted multi-platinum status, signaling Allen’s undeniable knack for crafting earworms that resonated with audiences far and wide.

However, with the life-changing event of motherhood in 2011, it appears Allen’s soaring career in music faced unexpected turbulence. According to her, having children ‘totally ruined’ the flow and growth of what many saw as a burgeoning legacy in the realm of pop music. While the integrative challenge of balancing personal life with the demands of stardom is well-known in the entertainment industry, it’s clear that for some, the scale tips more drastically, impacting the work that once flourished in the limelight.

Taylor Swift on GMA

Fans of Taylor Swift can anticipate a series of exciting reveals on ‘Good Morning America’ this week. The pop superstar is unveiling acoustic versions of surprise songs from her upcoming Disney+ version of the ‘Eras Tour’ film, with the first teaser set to release on Tuesday, March 12. This collaboration with ‘Good Morning America’ precedes the official drop of the concert film on Disney+ slated for Thursday, March 14, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

The news comes after Taylor Swift completed her Eras Tour’s Singapore leg, with her next album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ expected on April 19 before she hits the road again to Paris on May 9. Her ‘Eras Tour’ film, which first premiered in AMC theaters and became the top-grossing concert film in history, will enhance the Disney+ experience with more unseen footage. Viewers can look forward to performances including her Folklore single “Cardigan” and a selection of other tracks, with “Maroon” already teased in a recent trailer.

It seems ‘TAYLOR WEEK’ on ‘Good Morning America’ will start the countdown to another Swiftian spectacle. And fans now have an appointment with their screens—and perhaps their acoustic hearts—as they ready themselves for an intimate serenade from their favorite artist.

Selena Gomez News

Selena Gomez demonstrated her affection for her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, with an intimate and touching Instagram post in honor of his 36th birthday. Public displays of tenderness might be commonplace in celebrity relationships, but Gomez took it up a notch with a photograph that captured her planting a loving kiss on Benny’s cheek. It’s not every day we get to see this kind of personal moment, but when we do, it certainly sets the internet abuzz.

Accompanying the image was a caption that left no doubt about her feelings. The significance of the moment was heightened by her decision to use the phrase “I love you,” a public validation of their relationship that fans often speculate about but rarely witness being confirmed. The tenderness of the post speaks volumes, highlighting a genuinely sweet spot in their relationship. And while we might not know all the ways they celebrated, it’s clear that Benny’s birthday was wrapped up in love. If birthday wishes were like candles on a cake, Selena’s post was the spark igniting a collective “aww” across her followers’ hearts.

Katy Perry's Look at the Red Carpet for the Billboard Women in Music 2024

At the Billboard Women in Music 2024, Katy Perry certainly knew how to make an impression on the red carpet. The pop icon and “Roar” singer displayed a striking 3D design on her lower back. Not one to shy away from bold fashion choices, Perry coupled the eye-catching design with a risqué outfit consisting of a lace-up corseted top and a coordinating skirt.

The daring look was a perfect match for the glitz and glamour of Wednesday evening’s event as Perry added yet another memorable moment to her extensive red carpet repertoire. Known for her flamboyant style and chart-topping hits, the singer once again proved that she’s as skilled in commanding the spotlight as she is in climbing the music charts.

Ariana Grande

Starting from her humble Nickelodeon beginnings to becoming a full-blown pop titan, Ariana Grande has been ruling the charts since 2013, and her rise to stardom is nothing short of an epic pop odyssey. Her journey through R&B, dance, and even musical theatre has not only been a testament to her vocal prowess but also her daring choices in music production and collaboration. Now, with her latest album “Eternal Sunshine” brightening up the pop scene, it’s the perfect moment to rewind and revisit all her studio albums, ranked for your debating pleasure. And you know there’s always that one album that’s as divisive as pineapple on pizza.

Super Tuesday thoughts

It's SUPER TUESDAY. It's an election thing. When I was younger I thought Super Tuesday was Superman's birthday. I knew it was always on a Tuesday and thought maybe that was unusual. Then I thought, "What do I know about birthdays on Krypton?" I kinda wish Superman was running instead of Super Old Men.

Morning Brain is better than Afternoon Brain

WE’RE MORE HONEST IN THE MORNING _ Never trust anyone after lunch. A study (Harvard and University of Utah) found people tend to be a lot more honest in the morning. In a series of experiments, people were asked to solve math problems — some of which were impossible — either in the morning or afternoon, and were told they’d be paid five cents per correct answer. They were then asked to self-report their scores. The result: Afternoon people were 20 percent to 50 percent more likely to cheat. Our self-restraint is stronger in the morning because our energy stores are higher. As our batteries drain — and this study suggests that even everyday activities drain them — we become less ethical. Another factor is sleep, which is needed to recharge our moral batteries.

Miley Cyrus Drama

Miley Cyrus has found herself at the center of a family drama that unfolded following the discovery of a connection between her sister, Noah Cyrus, and Dominic Purcell, who has since married the Cyrus family matriarch, Tish Cyrus. According to TMZ, Miley was not made aware of Noah and Dominic’s alleged past relationship before Dominic and Tish’s marriage took place last year. This revelation seems to have come as a surprise to the pop star, who, upon learning about this complex family dynamic, took it upon herself to confront Tish regarding the situation.

The conversation between Miley and her mother has reportedly stirred up significant tension within the Cyrus household, as details of the previous relationship between Noah Cyrus and Dominic Purcell have now come to light. It remains to be seen how this will affect the family’s dynamics moving forward, but it is clear that this unusual turn of events has caused quite the stir among the Cyruses. Miley Cyrus, known to the public for her hit song “Flowers” and her role in bringing the character Hannah Montana to life, and Noah Cyrus, also a musician in her own right, find themselves in the headlines once again, this time due to a much more personal and potentially uncomfortable situation.

Meagan Markle's Ski Trip

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently embraced the winter chill with a group of her dear friends during a ski getaway. Images were shared on Instagram by her longtime friend Heather Dorak, the owner of Pilates Platinum, featuring the 42-year-old Duchess with a beaming smile alongside her pals, set against a picturesque snowy backdrop. The post, sprinkled with joy from the children’s skiing prowess to the adults’ nighttime uproarious laughter, echoed the heartfelt sentiment of a truly satisfying escape.

Post-vacation, Meghan Markle is looking forward to her next venture, diving back into the podcasting world after finishing her Spotify series “Archetypes,” which concluded with her overall deal in June 2023. Refocusing her content, Meghan plans a more philanthropic slant on her upcoming material, aiming to combine personal reflection with potentially insightful guest stars. While she gears up for a remake of “Archetypes” and kickstarts a new show with Lemonada, Hollywood still beckons. With potential entertainment engagements and business collaborations, Meghan and Prince Harry anticipate making their impact felt once again, even considering a move closer to the Tinseltown hustle. Redemption is in the air, or so their camp hints, as 2024 looms on the horizon – maybe, just maybe, on skis.
