Taylor Swift Tops Billboard's Movie Songs Chart for a Third Month, But Tame Impala Is Closing In

Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 is still No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Movie Songs chart, marking a third straight month on top for August 2026. The track posted 51.8 million streams and 8,000 downloads, keeping Swift ahead of a very crowded field.

The closest challenger is Tame Impala’s “Loser” from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which landed at No. 2 with 51.2 million streams, a gap of less than a million. The Spider-Man soundtrack is the story of the summer overall: the film premiered July 31 and already has four songs in the top 10, including Steve Lacy’s “Oh Yeah?” debuting at No. 3 with 46.9 million streams, plus entries from Bad Bunny and TV on the Radio.

Elsewhere on the chart, Robyn, Fleetwood Mac, Backstreet Boys, and Descendants tracks round out the rankings, proving movie music is having a serious moment.

Kristi Noem Files for Divorce From Husband Bryon After 34 Years

Kristi Noem filed for divorce from her husband Bryon Noem on Monday, September 28, in Hamlin County, South Dakota, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing ends a marriage that started in May 1992 and produced three children and grandchildren.

The divorce caps a turbulent year for the couple. Earlier in 2026, the Daily Mail published photos reportedly showing Bryon wearing fake breasts and claims he paid to speak with models in the bimbofication scene. A spokesperson for Kristi said at the time she was “devastated” and that the family was blindsided. The same month, President Donald Trump removed her as Homeland Security secretary and reassigned her to a special envoy role. In July, her mother, Corinne Arnold, said Kristi had told the family she planned to divorce.

Bryon has not publicly commented on the reports, and the family has asked for privacy and prayers. With a 34-year marriage, three kids, and a very public year behind them, this story is far from settled.

Do you think public figures’ family matters should stay private, or does the public have a right to know? Drop your take in the comments.

Six Best New Artist Losers Who Could Take Album of the Year at the 2027 Grammys

Losing best new artist at the Grammys has quietly become one of the strongest predictors of a huge career. When nominations for the 69th annual awards are announced Nov. 16, as many as six artists who lost best new artist could be in the album of the year conversation: Taylor Swift, Rosalía, Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, Kacey Musgraves and RAYE. Swift alone has seven prior album of the year nominations and four wins, which puts that early best new artist loss firmly in the rearview.

The pattern keeps repeating because the academy keeps honoring artists who grow. At the 68th Grammys, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter were all album of the year nominees after losing best new artist earlier in their careers. Seven artists in Grammy history have gone on to win album of the year after losing best new artist, including Swift, Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, Toto, The Chicks, Mumford & Sons and Musgraves.

Nominations land Nov. 16 and the ceremony is set for Feb. 7, so there is plenty of time to build your predictions. The takeaway is simple: a best new artist loss is not a rejection, it is a head start on the comeback. Which of these six artists are you rooting for in album of the year?

Ariana Grande Skips 2026 VMAs Despite Eight Nominations Amid Public Break

Ariana Grande was missing from the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on September 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and it wasn’t an accident. The singer led the night with eight nominations, including Video of the Year and Best Artist for “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” but chose to stay home as part of the public break she announced back in August.

That break wasn’t a knee-jerk reaction to the noise. Speaking to fans during her Eternal Sunshine Tour, Grande explained that the decision was planned quietly a long time ago and came from a thoughtful and empowered place. She also withdrew from the West End revival of Sunday in the Park With George, where she was set to star alongside her Wicked costar Jonathan Bailey.

Her absence puts a spotlight on something a lot of fans have been talking about: the constant online commentary about her appearance and weight. Eight nominations prove the music is still landing. Staying home proves she’s choosing her own terms. S

One Direction's 2012 Takeover: How Five X Factor Guys Ruled Pop in Under a Year

Before 2012, boy bands had been missing from American pop for a decade, and no British vocal group had topped the charts in far longer. One Direction changed all of that in a matter of months. Formed on The X Factor, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan arrived as relative unknowns and ended the year with two chart-topping albums, Up All Night and Take Me Home, plus a fanbase that seemed to multiply by the hour.

What made the rise even wilder is that radio success actually lagged behind their pop culture stardom. The fandom moved first, powered by social media in a way no boy band had experienced before, and the industry scrambled to keep up. Billboard’s Greatest Pop Stars podcast dives into that breakout year on its Vintage Pop Stardom episode, with host Andrew Unterberger joined by Jason Lipshutz, Billboard’s co-chief content officer and author of the forthcoming book A Whole Lotta History, out November 3.

The episode digs into the big debates too: is “What Makes You Beautiful” one of the greatest debut singles of all time, and could the surviving members ever reunite without Liam Payne? Whether you camped outside a stadium in 2012 or discovered the band through their solo careers, this episode is worth a listen.

Taylor Swift Announces 'The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore' With Four New Songs — Including 'Patient Zero'

Taylor Swift just gave fans the surprise they were manifesting. ‘The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore’ arrives Friday, September 25, and it comes loaded with four brand-new songs. The first one fans can obsess over is ‘Patient Zero’, which Swift revealed alongside the announcement.

The original ‘Life Of A Showgirl’ album landed in October 2025 and delivered the biggest first week for an album in history, thanks to production from Max Martin and Shellback and hits like ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ and ‘Opalite’. Swift says the Encore tracks were written during a trip to Sweden with her collaborators, and she described them as “born out of pure gratitude” for fans. She also gave a shoutout to the record-breaking crowd, telling fans, “You gave ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ the biggest first week for an album in history.” On top of all that, she’s set to receive the first-ever MTV VMA Artist Director Honors award this weekend.

With Easter eggs, new music, and a historic award all landing in the same week, the Showgirl era isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Wisconsin Inmates Raise Monarch Butterflies in Prison Conservation Program

A prison in Wisconsin has found an unexpected way to help a struggling species. At Redgranite Correctional Institute, about twenty inmates are raising monarch butterflies from caterpillars, feeding them, collecting data, and tagging each one before it migrates to Mexico. The program launched in 2025 and just wrapped its second season with 100 caterpillars raised, up from 60 the year before.

The effort comes together with help from Monarch Watch, which supplies the caterpillars, and the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin. Organizer Carrie Jahnke brought the idea to life, and landscapers added monarch-friendly flower beds around the prison grounds so the butterflies have a proper launching point. The program runs June through September, right in the middle of migration season.

For participants, the appeal goes beyond the science. One inmate said he enjoys being part of the program and giving back to the community. Another put it simply: “We can make a big impact from the inside.” With monarch populations facing real challenges, this is conservation and rehabilitation happening in the same room. Would you ever try raising butterflies at home?

Kelly Clarkson Says "Golden" Was the Hardest Kellyoke of All Time: "It Made Me Its B–ch"

Kelly Clarkson has covered just about everything on Kellyoke, but she says one song nearly got the best of her. During a visit to Late Night With Seth Meyers, Clarkson revealed that “Golden,” the chart-topping track from KPop Demon Hunters, was the hardest cover of her talk show’s seven-year run. It also happened to be the most requested Kellyoke by fans, which is why she saved it for the final episode. “It took me forever to place it to where I didn’t sound like a dying cat,” she told Meyers.

The struggle was real behind the scenes. Clarkson taped two additional backup versions of the song that she said did not sound good, and her son Remington kept wandering by to point out how high the track sits. The song went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, so the pressure was on from every direction. Clarkson’s verdict on the whole experience: “It made me its b–ch. A little bit.”

There’s plenty more on Clarkson’s plate. She reflected on the recent death of Dolly Parton, and she’s returning to The Voice for season 30, premiering Sept. 22 on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, coaching alongside Adam Levine, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green. She also showed off a new shoulder-length bob on Late Night.

Elgin Is Getting a New Medical Complex: What It Means for Local Families

Elgin residents have long known the routine: need a checkup, lab work, or imaging, and you’re likely heading into Lawton for it. That’s about to change. Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma has announced plans for an 11,000-square-foot medical complex in Elgin, expected to open in late 2027.

The facility will bring together primary care, urgent care, laboratory services, behavioral health, diagnostic imaging, and pharmacy services under one roof. For families in Elgin and the rural communities surrounding it, that means fewer long drives and faster access to care, whether it’s a sick kid on a Saturday morning or a routine blood draw.

The project has the backing of the City of Elgin and the Elgin Community Development Authority. Sean McAvoy with Memorial Health System calls it a continued commitment to quality healthcare for the area, and Elgin Mayor JJ Francais says the clinic will be “the full package” for the community. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned, with details expected soon.

Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Dies at 27 After Speaking on Mental Health

Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, has died. Us Weekly confirmed the death on Sunday, September 20. He was at a rehab facility at the time, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, and a cause of death has not been released. The family has asked for privacy during what they called a difficult and painful time.

Just months before his death, Presley spoke publicly about his own mental health journey. In June, he took part in a mental health panel at the Aviator Nation x We Are Enough launch party in Malibu, where his mother was in the crowd to support him. Journalist Vanessa Powell, who attended, remembered him as “kind, vulnerable, and inspiring.” At that event, Presley said, “I’m gonna be very human for everyone. There’s only so much you can hide from the world.”

His sister, actress and model Kaia Gerber, told Vogue in August about watching his struggles with mental health and substance abuse, saying the experience leveled their family and that she was proud of him for using his story to help others. His final months were spent trying to turn something painful into something useful for other people.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky Welcome Daughter Rose Bean via Surrogate

Lady Gaga is a mom. She and husband Michael Polansky welcomed a daughter named Rose Bean via gestational surrogate, according to a TMZ report. The baby was born June 9 at 11:19 p.m. PT in Los Angeles, with the name and sex revealed about a week after Page Six first broke the news that a baby was on the way.

For Gaga, this moment has been a long time coming. She has spoken openly for years about wanting to be a mother, once calling it her “next starring role.” Sources say her journey to motherhood began in 2024 and included serious health challenges, including severe hip issues and other physical ailments, along with plenty of emotional highs and lows. Neither Gaga nor Polansky has commented publicly on the birth so far.

Rose Bean is the first child for the couple, who have been together since 2019 and married in recent years. Little Monsters across the internet are already celebrating the name, the news, and the new era for an artist who has always shared her biggest dreams out loud. What do you think of the name Rose Bean? Drop your reaction in the comments.

Duncan Sheik, Spring Awakening Composer and "Barely Breathing" Singer, Dead at 56

Duncan Sheik, the singer-songwriter who scored a massive ’90s hit with “Barely Breathing” and later reshaped modern Broadway with Spring Awakening, has died at 56. His mother confirmed to The New York Times that he died Thursday in a hospital after organ failure, one day after his family shared that he was in critical but stable condition.

Sheik’s career moved through two distinct eras of pop culture. “Barely Breathing” earned him a Grammy nomination and became one of those songs that seemed to live on the radio forever. Then he pivoted to theater, teaming with Steven Sater on Spring Awakening, the 2006 musical that won Tony and Grammy Awards and launched the careers of Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff and John Gallagher Jr.

The tributes have been pouring in from across music and theater, remembering Sheik for his sensitivity, wit and depth of spirit. He is survived by his mother, his partner Nora Ariffin and their daughter. An off-Broadway revival of Spring Awakening is currently running, a reminder that his music will keep reaching new fans.

Ariana Grande Shares Studio Footage From the Day "Petal" Was Born:

Ariana Grande gave fans a rare glimpse inside the creative process this week, posting studio footage from the session where her song “Petal” came together. In the clip, Grande can be seen testing vocal melodies over the instrumental while producers Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh work behind the boards. At one point, Martin reacts with a simple but perfect “Sick!” as Grande refines her notes.

The session turned out to be the birth of something huge. “Petal” became the title track of Grande’s eighth album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in August. The album also produced the Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” making this one of the most successful eras of her career. Grande captioned the video simply “the day petal was born,” and fans have been flooding the comments ever since.

Beyond the music, Grande has had a busy year. Her Eternal Sunshine Tour wrapped in September, and she’s releasing a live album from the trek. She’s also preparing for press around Focker-in-Law, her upcoming film project. But for now, this studio footage is the moment fans can’t stop talking about.

Hayley Williams Adds Ed Sheeran's Departed Support Acts to Pre-Show Playlist

Hayley Williams didn’t post a statement, give an interview, or write a long caption. She just pressed play. Before her September 16 show at Forest Hills Stadium, the Paramore frontwoman queued up music from Macklemore, Lukas Graham, FINNEAS, Rowe and Beoga, the exact lineup of artists who walked away from Ed Sheeran’s Loop tour. It was a quiet move that said plenty, especially since she’d already poked fun at Sheeran’s statement on social media.

For those catching up: Macklemore was dropped from the tour after a “free Palestine” speech at Gillette Stadium. His fellow support acts and Sheeran’s backing band all exited in solidarity, and the numbers since then have been dramatic. Sheeran has lost over 200,000 Instagram followers while Macklemore has gained more than 1.6 million. On top of that, Macklemore donated $1 million of his tour earnings to Palestinians, and Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft matched it with $2 million.

Sheeran has said he is “not complicit” in the situation and described the conflict as a “tragedy,” but the fallout keeps growing. What started as one speech has turned into a full-blown conversation about free speech, solidarity, and what neutrality actually costs in 2026. Where do you land on all this? Drop your take in the comments.

Selena Gomez Says Fans Want to Freeze Her in 2016: 'That's Just Not Going to Happen'

Selena Gomez is opening up about the pressure to stay frozen in time, and she’s not here for it. In a new People cover story, the singer and Rare Beauty founder addressed fans who keep asking her to bring back her iconic 2016 smoky eye. “I think people want to freeze me in time to that period of my life,” she said. “That’s just not going to happen.” And honestly, she has a point.

That 2016 era was massive for Selena. Revival had just topped the Billboard 200, she was the most-followed person on Instagram at just 23, and her beauty look was everywhere. But Selena says that time wasn’t as picture-perfect as it seemed. She called it a hectic period where she was just trying to be cool and figure things out. Now, she’s in a completely different chapter.

These days, Selena is married to producer Benny Blanco, running Rare Beauty, and focused on what makes her happy. She told People she’s still in the honeymoon stage and said, “It just feels so wonderful to have a partner that genuinely listens and meets you right where you are.” So while fans might miss the smoky eye, Selena’s clearly loving who she is right now.

Ed Sheeran Fans Demand Refunds After Macklemore Dropped From Tour Over 'Free Palestine' Speech

Ed Sheeran’s The Loop Tour lost its entire opening lineup in one swipe. Macklemore was removed from the trek after saying “Free Palestine” during a New Jersey show, and then Finneas, Lukas Graham, Aaron Rowe, and Beoga all dropped out in solidarity. Macklemore says Sheeran and his team made the decision. Sheeran says it was the promoter’s call after venues threatened to pull future shows, and Robert Kraft went further, banning Macklemore from Gillette Stadium over what he called "antisemitic rhetoric."

Now the fallout is landing on fans. Ticketmaster is getting a wave of refund requests, and some ticket holders are skipping the resale market entirely to leave seats empty on purpose. One fan’s reasoning was simple: empty seats will impact his tour a lot more than resold tickets. With ten North American shows still on the schedule through December, those rooms could look very different than anyone planned.

Macklemore hasn’t backed down either, saying that if his words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where he stood. So we want to hear from you: if the lineup changes after you buy, should you get your money back?

Taylor Swift Makes History as Youngest-Ever Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductee

Taylor Swift has officially been announced as part of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and at 36 years old, she becomes the youngest person ever inducted into the prestigious institution. Even more impressive? She accomplished this in her first year of eligibility, solidifying her place among Nashville’s most celebrated songwriters.

Swift’s journey began with her 2006 self-titled debut album, when she was just a teenager who had moved to Nashville specifically to learn from the city’s legendary songwriting community. That bet paid off in a big way, as she’s since racked up 108 songs on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, including 10 No. 1 hits. In her statement about the honor, Swift said she “fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be” from the time she started writing songs as a child.

The Class of 2026 also includes Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller, along with the late J.I. Allison, the Crickets drummer and songwriter who was added in the legacy category on Sept. 15. The induction gala is set for Monday, Oct. 26, at the Music City Center in Nashville.

Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" Ties Mariah Carey's All-Time Hot 100 Record With 22 Weeks at No. 1

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” just tied the biggest record in Billboard Hot 100 history. The song spends a 22nd week at No. 1, matching Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the longest reign since the chart began in 1958. Two weeks ago, it already set the non-holiday record at 20 weeks, passing Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”

The stats behind the run are wild. In the tracking week of Sept. 4 to 10, “Choosin’ Texas” pulled 24 million streams, 56.9 million radio audience impressions, and 6,000 sales in the U.S. It also tops Hot Country Songs for a 40th week, only the third song ever to hit that number. Country songs currently hold three of the top four spots on the Hot 100, so this isn’t an isolated win.

Elsewhere on the chart, Karol G’s “BbY WOW” with Judeline and rusowsky jumped 16-10, giving her a second Hot 100 top 10. The big question now is December, when Mariah’s holiday classic typically returns to No. 1. If it does, she takes the record back outright. Do you think Ella Langley holds her off?

Samsung Seeks Dismissal of Dua Lipa's $15M Lawsuit

Dua Lipa is not backing down from her $15 million lawsuit against Samsung, and Samsung is not backing down either. The tech giant filed a motion on September 10, 2026, asking a judge to dismiss the case entirely. Their argument? The images of Dua that appeared on TV packaging were just showing the TV’s interface, specifically the Xite Hits channel on Samsung TV Plus. According to Samsung, nobody would look at that and think Dua personally endorses the product.

Dua’s legal team sees it differently. They claim Samsung used her image without permission and refused to stop even after being asked. What makes this case stand out is the evidence they’re bringing: fan posts. One person wrote, “I’d get that TV just because Dua Lipa is on it.” Another said, “I wasn’t even planning on buying a tv but I saw the box so I decided to get it.” Those posts are now part of the argument that Samsung’s packaging directly influenced buying decisions.

Samsung previously stated the image came from a content partner who assured them the rights were cleared. So now it’s a waiting game to see if the judge agrees with Samsung’s motion or lets the case move forward. Either way, it raises big questions about how companies use celebrity images and whether fans’ reactions can count as proof in court. What do you think: should Samsung have to pay up, or is this lawsuit a stretch?

Gander, Newfoundland: The Small Town That Welcomed 7,000 Stranded Passengers on 9/11

When U.S. airspace closed on September 11, 2001, 38 planes were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland. The town had about 12,000 residents. Those planes carried 7,000 passengers. Nobody in Gander had advance warning, and nobody had a plan. What happened next turned into one of the most remarkable stories of generosity in modern history.

Schools and churches opened their doors. The local hockey rink became a massive cooler for food. Volunteers like Beulah Cooper handed out sandwiches, drove strangers to pay phones, and shared their own showers and beds. She described the feeling simply, saying it does so good in here, tapping her chest, to know you’re doing something to help somebody.

That story inspired “Come From Away,” the Tony Award-winning musical its creators call a “9/12 musical” because it focuses on what happened the morning after the attacks, not the attacks themselves. Former Mayor Claude Elliott has seen the show 139 times across six countries. Have you seen “Come From Away,” or is this story new to you? Tell us in the comments.

Princess Diana's Iconic 'Revenge Dress' Heads to Auction, Could Fetch Six Figures

Princess Diana’s legendary “revenge dress” is going up for auction at Sotheby’s in New York on December 9, and it’s expected to sell for somewhere between $150,000 and $300,000. The black silk gown, designed by Christina Stambolian, features an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline and a draped skirt that made headlines around the world when Diana wore it to a Vanity Fair party in June 1994. The timing was no accident. Just hours before the event, a documentary aired in which Prince Charles admitted to his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, and Diana’s response was simply to step out looking absolutely breathtaking.

What makes this dress even more fascinating is that Diana actually commissioned it three years before she ever wore it. She was waiting for exactly the right moment, and when it arrived, she didn’t hold back. The dress became known as the “revenge dress,” a term reportedly coined by the media the very next day. Graydon Carter, the former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief, even noted that Diana looked “incredibly beautiful” at the party, and the significance wasn’t fully understood until the newspapers came out the following morning.

The dress previously sold at auction in July 1997 for £39,098, which makes the current estimated price tag of up to $300,000 a testament to how much Diana’s legacy has only grown in pop culture over the decades. This auction is not just about fashion; it’s about a moment in history when one woman used style to express independence, resilience, and quiet power. Whether you’re a royal watcher, a fashion lover, or just someone who appreciates a great comeback story, this piece of memorabilia represents something truly unforgettable.

Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show Wins Record 7 Emmys

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show has officially made history. At the Creative Arts Emmys on September 5, the performance took home seven awards, breaking the record for the most Emmys ever won by a Super Bowl halftime show. The sweep included Outstanding Variety Special (Live), directing, music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, and technical direction. It was a massive night for everyone involved, from the dancers to the crew behind the scenes.

The show, which aired from Levi’s Stadium and featured unforgettable appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, was praised for its cultural imagery and elaborate staging. Bad Bunny earned his first Emmy as lead performer and executive producer, while Jay-Z also took home a win as executive producer through Roc Nation. The recognition underscores just how much influence Latin music now has on major American television events.

With the main Emmy ceremony scheduled for September 14 in Los Angeles, this could be just the beginning of the awards run for the production. What did you think of the halftime show when it aired? Do you think it deserved all seven wins? Drop your take in the comments.

When Labor Day meant 21 hours of anything-goes TV — and millions raised for charity

For decades, Labor Day didn’t just mean the end of summer. It meant settling in for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Starting in 1966, the comedian hosted a massive 21.5-hour broadcast that became a pop culture ritual. Over its run, it raised an estimated $2 billion for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Stars from John Lennon to the Jackson 5 to Aretha Franklin all made appearances, and in 1976, Frank Sinatra orchestrated a legendary on-stage reunion between Lewis and his former partner Dean Martin, twenty years after their bitter split.

The show wasn’t without criticism. Some called out the charity’s use of pity in its appeals, and Lewis’s humor sometimes crossed lines that wouldn’t be acceptable today. But the bigger collapse came from behind the scenes. In 2011, the MDA proposed cutting the telethon down to a pre-recorded six-hour special. Lewis resisted the change, and the organization ousted him just weeks before the broadcast. His 2010 performance, where he tearfully sang “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” would become his final moment on the show he had hosted for 44 years. The MDA ended the telethon tradition completely in 2014, and Lewis passed away in 2017 at age 91.

Labor Day has never really had a TV anchor event since. Charity fundraising has moved online, into live streams, and onto social media. But the scale of what Lewis built was monumental for its time. Do you think a modern celebrity could pull off a 21-hour charity broadcast today, or is that era gone for good? Let us know in the comments.

Ariana Grande Is Taking a Break From the Spotlight, But She's Still Promoting "Focker-in-Law" and Fans Have Thoughts

Ariana Grande recently announced she’s taking a well-deserved break from public-facing work after her “Eternal Sunshine” tour wraps. But according to new reports, that doesn’t mean she’s disappearing entirely. The singer and actress is reportedly committed to promoting her upcoming film “Focker-in-Law,” which hits theaters in November. She’s said to be very proud of the project, which also stars Skyler Gisondo, Beanie Feldstein, and returning franchise favorite Robert De Niro.

Grande addressed her decision directly during a Chicago concert, clarifying that the break was not a reaction to recent scrutiny about her appearance. “The announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing,” she told the crowd. “It is something that I had decided to plan quietly a long time ago.” That context matters, especially since she recently pulled out of her West End debut in “Sunday in the Park with George” alongside Jonathan Bailey, who also exited the production.

So what does a selective break actually look like? For Grande, it means skipping some public appearances while still honoring commitments like the “Focker-in-Law” press tour and some brand work. Fans seem split on whether that counts as a real break, but one thing is clear: she’s setting boundaries on her own terms. Would you promote a major movie during your time off, or would you go completely dark?

Ariana Grande Hints at Marriage to Ricky Álvarez With "thank u, next" Lyric Change

Ariana Grande just turned her biggest hit into a love letter. During the final show of her Eternal Sunshine tour in London, she sang a modified version of “thank u, next,” swapping a lyric to sing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, I’m tryna make him my last.” The crowd went wild, and fans immediately started speculating about a possible engagement.

Grande and Ricky Álvarez have history. They dated briefly over a decade ago and rekindled their romance in July after her split from Ethan Slater. Since then, Grande has been dropping hints. She changed the same song’s lyrics during a Brooklyn show, sang “We always find our way back,” and debuted a matching “I do love you” tattoo with Álvarez. She has also announced plans to step back from public-facing work after her tour concludes, and she pulled out of a West End production of “Sunday in the Park With George.”

So, is a wedding on the horizon? Grande hasn’t confirmed anything, but the signs are all pointing in that direction. She is rewriting lyrics, matching ink with her man, and clearing her schedule. What do you think, is Ariana Grande about to say “I do”? Let us know in the comments.

KATSEYE Drops New Hershey's Creme Bars Collab With a "Pinky Up" Twist

KATSEYE is taking their “Pinky Up” gesture to the candy aisle. The global girl group has officially partnered with Hershey’s to launch the new Creme Bars, available in Salted Caramel and Affogato flavors. The commercial puts a full chocolate-themed spin on their signature move, all in support of Hershey’s “It’s Your Happy Place” campaign. It’s all about finding joy in the little things, whether that’s a tour win or a quick snack break.

The collab comes at a massive moment for the group. Their album WILD hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year, cementing them as one of the biggest acts in the pop game right now. However, the road hasn’t been totally smooth.
